Private lessons and virtual coaching are a great solution
for those interested in learning about the training process, are truly
interested in the art/science of dog training and who have the time to devote
to the process of creating a well trained dog. This program is for those that are serious about having a well trained dog and learning how to get there.
The goal of this program is for our trainers to teach you how to train your dog. You will be responsible for assigned homework between lessons, which may include submitting video and written material. Using proven methods that will not only improve your obedience and control but your overall relationship with your dog.
Training your dog takes commitment, time, and energy for the training to be effective.
If this sounds like more work or commitment than you are prepared or your would just prefer to get faster progress please consider one our board and train programs. Those programs are designed to involve you in the training while doing more of the heavy lifting in the beginning.
Initial Training Assessment and Coaching Session $250
If you just recently brought a new dog into your home and you're not sure what's next, this is the place to start. During this lesson we will go over basic care, management and training philosophies. If you decide to sign up for one of our board and train programs or private lesson packages, $100 from this assessment will be credited to your program.
Private Coaching Packages Below
The lessons are designed to teach you and your dog a new style of communication, to teach the skills and behaviors necessary for a happier relationship, and to give you the skills to continue setting your dog up for success.
This training program will include access to portions of our video training library as well as one on one coaching from our top trainers. Our virtual coaching programs allow you to learn from the comfort of your own home, without the stress or fear of other people watching you as you perfect your skills.
These lessons will focus on teaching you and your dog to work together,
rather than against one another.

Bronze Package - The Basics - Understanding your dog and how
they learn
Our bronze package consists of 4 private lessons.
This package will introduce you to the foundation behaviors
and reward based training methods. We will cover how to introduce basic
obedience commands such as sit, down, go to bed, loose leash walking and
waiting at doorways.
This program can also be customized for those interested in
competition level/or advanced off-leash work. Your trainer will discuss your
ultimate goals and the best way to achieve those goals
Silver Package -
Beyond the Basics -
Taking your training furtherOur silver package consists of 6 private lessons.
This package covers everything in the first package and builds upon that foundation. We will teach you how and when to reduce rewards in training. How to get greater consistency and reliability from your commands. We will introduce "leave-it" for ignoring distractions and build upon our "stay". How to teach your dog to reliably come when called, even under distractions, how to build greater duration in your behaviors and how to help improve your relationship through clear boundaries and expectations. We will build upon the behaviors taught in the first program and introduce new behaviors.
This program can also be customized for those interested in competitive dog sports.
Gold Package - Advanced Training -Creating Better Reliability and ConsistencyOur gold package consists of 8 private lessons
This package covers everything in the first two packages, builds upon the foundation, and introduces new topics, information and skills. We will introduced focused heeling, the beginnings of off-leash control, and other advanced training concepts. We will cover when and how to introduce fair, consistent and effective corrections to stop unwanted behaviors without damaging your relationship. We will cover how to build the reliability of your training through reward-based methods, even in new environments. We will cover how to teach your dog to ignore all distractions and reliably respond to cues. We will teach you how to effectively incorporate training into your everyday routines to build stronger more consistent behaviors. We will further dive into the topic of incorporating play and other non-food rewards into your training to create motivated, reliable, and flashy training that will impress all of your friends and family!
This program can be customized for IGP / Schutzhund, including seasoned and novice handlers.
Platinum Package - Impress your friends and wow your neighbors! -Our platinum package consists of 10 private lessons
This package will cover everything the first three packages covers and continues to build upon both you and your dog's performance. Have you seen the videos of our trainers working with their dogs? Laser focused precision and off-leash reliability, we can teach you how to get there. For many dogs we will build more off-leash control and introduce new tools into training. We will teach help you problem solve your training.
This package is a favorite among our sport and hobbyist clients as well as our clients with high drive working, herding or guardian breeds.
Continuation Lesson
Once you have completed our Platinum package or your dog has graduated from any one of our in-board programs, you will qualify for significantly reduced rate private lessons. Students and dogs can learn more advanced training or these can be used as a refresher after training has been completed.
